The authentication and electronic signature certificates used in the “Asan İmza” system are issued by the Asan Certification Services Center (ASXM) of the Ministry of Taxes. Established jointly by the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies—and accredited within the Ministry—the ASXM is authorized to issue advanced certificates to employees of state and local self-government bodies, as well as to legal entities and individuals.
