Yapı Kredi Bank Azerbaijan CJSC Continues to Support the Real Sector in Q3 2019.
According to the report published by the Bank for Q3 2019, net interest income increased compared to the same period of 2018, reaching AZN 22.7 million.
Operating successfully for many years, "Yapı Kredi Bank Azerbaijan" CJSC increased its net profit for the third quarter of 2019 by 39% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, reaching AZN 3.8 million. In line with the priorities outlined in the Strategic Road Maps, the Bank continued its activities in financing the economy and supporting the real sector, increasing its loan portfolio to AZN 181.1 million. When looking at the sectoral structure of the loan portfolio, it is evident that the Bank primarily finances the non-oil sector. The bank’s capital indicators are quite satisfactory. Thus, compared to the same period of the previous year, the Bank’s Tier 1 capital increased by 8% to AZN 66.7 million, and its total capital rose by 7% to AZN 72.4 million.
In the same period, the Tier 1 capital adequacy ratio increased to 31.8%, while the total capital adequacy ratio reached 34.5%. Notably, these figures are several times higher than the minimum requirements set by local regulations.
