Yapı Kredi Bank Azerbaijan CJSC Concludes the Third Quarter of 2020 with Profit.
Continuing its successful operations for many years, "Yapı Kredi Bank Azerbaijan" CJSC closed the third quarter of 2020 with a net profit of AZN 1.6 million. According to the Bank’s financial report for Q3 2020, net interest income amounted to AZN 19.8 million.
Yapı Kredi Bank Azerbaijan continued its activities aimed at supporting the real sector of the economy. As of the end of Q3, the Bank’s loan portfolio stood at AZN 149.6 million, and an analysis of the portfolio structure by economic sectors shows that the Bank primarily engages in diversified financing covering the non-oil sector. The bank’s capital indicators are quite satisfactory. Compared to the same period of the previous year, Tier I capital after deductions increased to AZN 71.1 million, while total capital rose to AZN 74.1 million.
Over the same period, the Tier I capital adequacy ratio increased to 45%, and the total capital adequacy ratio reached 47%. Notably, these figures are several times higher than the minimum requirements set by local regulations.
