A First in the History of Banking in Azerbaijan: Yapı Kredi Bank Azerbaijan Becomes the Official Sponsor of the UEFA Champions League!

For the first time in the history of Azerbaijani football, a football team — Qarabağ FK — has qualified for the group stage of the UEFA Champions League for the 2017–2018 season. Until now, Yapı Kredi Bank Azerbaijan had served as the Official Bank of the UEFA Europa League in Azerbaijan during the 2016–2017 seasons. This time, breaking new ground, the Bank has become the Official Bank of the UEFA Champions League for the 2017–2018 season — a first in the history of banking in Azerbaijan.
