He graduated from the Economics and Management faculty of the Gazi University, in 1991-1996.  He worked as an internal auditor, head auditor at Internal Audit department, head of Internal Audit Department, head of sector on" Credit and Risk Audit" under the Internal Audit Department at Koç Bank, in 1996-2009. He was the director of Strategic Planning and Audit coordination group under the Internal Audit Department of Yapi Kredi Bank Inc. in 2009-2015. He was COO at "Yapı Kredi Bank Azerbaijan" OJSC between 05.06.2015- 28.09.2015. And he works as a Chairman/Chief Director of the Management Board at "Yapı Kredi Bank Azerbaijan" OJSC   since  28.09.2015

In 1999, Mr.Agırbas graduated from the Faculty of General Economics at the Anadolu University.In 1997-1999, worked as a foreign trade operations specialist of the Denizli branch of "Yapı Kredi Bank"/Turkey, in 1999-2000 - as a foreign trade operations specialist.From 2000 to 2007, Mr.Agırbas was a commercial portfolio manager at "Yapı Kredi Bank", in 2008–2010 Mr. Agırbas served as the manager of "Izmir Aydın Efeler" branch of "Yapı Kredi Bank"/Turkey. In 2010-2012, Mr.Agırbas was the head of the Sumgait branch of "Yapı Kredi Bank" CJSC/Azerbaijan.In 2012-2013, Mr.Agırbas was the head of the customer service department of "Yapı Kredi Bank" CJSC/Azerbaijan. In 2014-2018, Mr. Agırbas was the director of "İzmir Ege" branch of "Yapı Kredi Bank"/Turkey. In 2018-2019, Mr.Agırbas was Deputy General Director in Sales and Marketing department of "Yapı Kredi Bank" CJSC/Azerbaijan. From 05.02.2019, Mr.Agırbas is Deputy General Director in Sales and Marketing department and a member of the Board of Management of "Yapı Kredi Bank" CJSC/Azerbaijan.
