Mete Şamil Öztürk graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Anadolu University. He began his professional career in 1996 as a Financial Analysis Specialist at “Dış Ticaret Bankası” A.Ş. Between 1998 and 2001, he served as Commercial Marketing Manager at the same bank. From 2001 to 2005, he worked as Commercial Portfolio Manager at “Koç Bank” A.Ş., and in 2005–2006, he held the position of Branch Manager. Between 2006 and 2016, Mr. Öztürk managed various branches of “Yapı ve Kredi Bankası” A.Ş. From 2016 to 2022, he served as Regional Director for Commercial Banking in the Aegean, Mediterranean, Beyoğlu, and Haliç regions. Between 2022 and 2025, he was the Director of the Istanbul European North Region. As of March 14, 2025, Mete Şamil Öztürk has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of “Yapı Kredi Bank Azerbaijan” CJSC.

Sinan Ağırbaş graduated from the Faculty of Economics at Anadolu University in 1999. Between 1997 and 1999, he worked at Yapı Kredi Bank A.Ş./Türkiye, Denizli Branch, as a Foreign Trade Operations Specialist, and from 1999 to 2000, he continued in the same role as Foreign Trade Operations Specialist. From 2000 to 2007, he served as Commercial Portfolio Manager at Yapı Kredi Bank A.Ş./Türkiye, İzmir. Between 2008 and 2010, he worked as Branch Manager at Yapı Kredi Bank A.Ş./Türkiye, İzmir Aydın Efeler Branch. From 2010 to 2012, he served as Branch Manager at Yapı Kredi Bank Azerbaijan OJSC, Sumgait Branch. From 2012 to 2013, he was the Head of Customer Service Department at Yapı Kredi Bank Azerbaijan OJSC. Between 2014 and 2018, he worked as Branch Manager at Yapı Kredi Bank A.Ş./Türkiye, İzmir Ege Branch. From 2018 to 2019, he served as Assistant General Manager for Sales and Marketing at Yapı Kredi Bank Azerbaijan OJSC. Since February 5, 2019, he has held the position of Assistant General Manager for Sales and Marketing, Member of the Board of Directors at Yapı Kredi Bank Azerbaijan OJSC. 

Shahla Samadova

Shahla Samadova graduated from the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics at Baku State University in 1996. From 1999 to 2005, she worked at Koçbank (Azerbaijan) LTD as an Retail Banking/Service Officer. Between 2005 and 2008, she served as Head of the Operations Department at Koçbank (Azerbaijan) LTD. From 2008 to 2009, she worked as Head of the Operations Group at Yapı Kredi Bank Azerbaijan OJSC. Between 2009 and 2012, she served as Assistant General Manager overseeing Operations Group, IT Department, and Administrative Department at Yapı Kredi Bank Azerbaijan OJSC. From 2012 to 2013, she continued as Assistant General Manager for Operations Group at Yapı Kredi Bank Azerbaijan OJSC, and from 2013 to 2015, she continued in the same role as Assistant General Manager for Operations Group, Member of the Board of Directors at Yapı Kredi Bank Azerbaijan OJSC. Since October 1, 2015, she has served as Assistant General Manager for Operations Group, Member of the Board of Directors at Yapı Kredi Bank Azerbaijan OJSC.  

Ziya Serkan Gunal

  Ziya Serkan Günal graduated in 1995 with a bachelor’s degree in Geological Engineering from the Middle East Technical University. He began his career in 1997 at Ziraat Bank in Turkey, and between 2002 and 2008, he worked at Ziraat Bank’s London branch as Deputy Head of the Funds Management Department. From 2008 to 2018, he served as Head of the Correspondent Banking and Funds Management Department at Yapı Kredi Bank Azerbaijan CJSC. Between 2018 and 2023, he held the position of Director of Treasury and Correspondent Relations at Yapı Kredi Leasing Türkiye. On October 9, 2023, Ziya Serkan Günal was appointed Deputy Chief Financial Officer at Yapı Kredi Bank Azerbaijan CJSC, and on February 25, 2025, he was promoted to Chief Financial Officer and Member of the Executive Board.

Mammadov Ramil

Ramil Telman oglu Mammadov received his bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Baku State University in 2002 and completed his master’s degree in International Relations at the same university in 2004. In addition, in 2009, he obtained a second master’s degree in Public Policy and Management from the University of Southern Maine, USA. He began his professional career in 2003 at the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, where he worked as Economist and Senior Economist until 2006. Between 2006 and 2007, he served as Senior Economist at the German Technical Cooperation (GTZ). In 2009, he worked as a Leading Economist at AzerEnerji OJSC, and from 2009 to 2011, he served as Internal Auditor at Cred Agro Non-Bank Credit Organization. From 2011 to 2013, he worked at AzerEnerji OJSC as Deputy Head of the Investment Department and Deputy Head of the Strategic Development Department. Between 2013 and 2015, Ramil Mammadov continued his career at Yapı Kredi Bank Azerbaijan CJSC, where he held the positions of Deputy Head and Head of the Internal Control Department. From 2015 to 2024, he served as Head of the Internal Control and Compliance Department. On February 25, 2025, he was appointed Chief Compliance Officer and Member of the Executive Board of Yapı Kredi Bank Azerbaijan CJSC.

Mammadli Sadiq

Sadiq Fakhreddin oglu Mammadli received his bachelor’s degree in Finance and Credit from Near East University, Cyprus, in 2000, and his master’s degree in Finance and Credit from the same university in 2001. In 2006, he earned a PhD in Mathematical Economics from the Institute of Cybernetics. From 2002 to 2007, Sadiq Mammadli worked at Koçbank Azerbaijan as a Customer Service Specialist and Senior Corporate Banking Specialist. Between 2007 and 2019, he held several positions at Yapı Kredi Bank Azerbaijan CJSC, including Senior Specialist in the Credit Department, Deputy Head of the Credit Department, and Head of Corporate and Commercial SME Credit Allocation. From 2019 to 2024, he served as Head of the Credit Management Department. On February 25, 2025, he was appointed Chief Risk Officer and Member of the Executive Board of Yapı Kredi Bank Azerbaijan CJSC.

Teymuraz Amirov

Between 1989 and 1994, Teymuraz Amirov studied at the Faculty of Law of Baku State University. From 2002 to 2003, he worked as a Lawyer at Baku Transport -7 ATSC. Between 2004 and 2008, he served as Legal Counsel at Cred Agro NBCO. He continued his professional career at Yapı Kredi Bank Azerbaijan, first as a Lawyer from 2008 to 2009, then as Head of the Legal Department from 2009 to 2018. Since February 13, 2018, he has been serving as a Member of the Executive Board.
