  Gökhan Erün earned his Bachelor's degree from İstanbul Technical University - Department of Electronics and Communications and Master's degree from Yeditepe University - Business Administration. He began his career at Garanti Bank Treasury Department in 1994. Between 1999-2004, he served as the Senior Vice President of Commercial Marketing and Sales Department. After becoming the CEO of Garanti Emeklilik ve Hayat in 2004, he was appointed as Executive Vice President of Garanti Bank in September 2005. Erün began to serve as the Deputy CEO of Garanti Bank in September 2015, also in charge of Corporate Banking, Treasury, Treasury Marketing and Financial Solutions, Derivatives, Cash Management and Transaction Banking, and Financial Institutions. He also served as a member of the Supervisory Boards of various subsidiaries of Garanti Bank. As of January 2018, Gökhan Erün has continued his career as CEO of Yapı Kredi, actively serving in this position. Additionally, he is the Chief Executive Officer at Koç Financial Services and participates in the Supervisory Boards of the Yapı Kredi Group's subsidiaries.

  He obtained his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University in 1996 and completed his MBA in Business Administration at the Rochester Institute of Technology between 1997 and 1999. He began his professional career in 1998 as a Budget and Planning Analyst at XEROX Corporation. From 2000 to 2009, he worked as Senior Manager of Management Consulting at Accenture Turkey, responsible for overseeing the consulting operations and coordination in Türkiye. From 2009 to 2013, he served as Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Yapı Kredi Bank A.Ş. (Türkiye), responsible for managing Information Technologies. From 2013 to 2020, he held the position of Assistant General Manager in charge of Information Technologies and Operations, and from 2020 to 2021, he continued in the same role as Chief Operations Officer (COO), overseeing both Information Technologies and Operations. Currently, he serves as Executive Vice President for Commercial and SME Banking at Yapı Kredi Bank A.Ş. (Türkiye).

Serkan Ülgen graduated from the Faculty of Industrial Engineering at Bilkent University between 1994 and 1998. He completed his MBA in Business Administration at Boğaziçi University from 2003 to 2005. Between 1998 and 2001, he worked as Department Director at Benkar Consumer Financing and Credit Card Services Company. At Yapı Kredi Bank A.Ş. (Türkiye), he held several key positions: 2001–2004: Deputy Manager of Merchant Database; 2004–2006: Head of Credit Card Sales Department; 2006–2008: Head of Consumer Portfolio Management Group; 2009–2010: Head of Credit Card Sales Group; 2010–2014: Director of Card Payment Systems Sales Group; 2014–2017: Director of Consumer, Platinum Banking, and Card Payment Systems Group; 2017–2018: Director of Retail Banking and Card Payment Systems Group; Since 2018: Assistant General Manager for Retail Banking.

Virma Sökmen

Virma Sökmen received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from La Salle University in the United States. She began her career in the Research and Investment Departments of Gulf Bank and Çarşı Menkul Değerler. From 1993 to 2015, she served as Deputy General Manager at HSBC Bank Türkiye A.Ş. Since 2010, she has held senior positions in corporate banking, commercial banking, foreign trade, factoring, corporate and commercial insurance, corporate marketing, and cash management. Currently, Virma Sökmen serves as an Independent Member of the Supervisory Board at Sarkuysan Elektrolitik Bakır Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., Ecogreen Enerji Holding A.Ş., and Mogan Enerji Yatırım Holding A.Ş. In addition, she works as an Advisor to the Supervisory Board at Hedef Araç Kiralama ve Servis A.Ş. Since 2019, she has been an Independent Member of the Supervisory Board of Yapı Kredi Bankası A.Ş., a Member of the Credit Committee, Chairperson of the Corporate Governance Committee, and a Member of the Credit Monitoring Committee. Furthermore, on March 7, 2025, she was appointed as an Independent Member of the Supervisory Board of Yapı Kredi Bank Azerbaijan CJSC.

Özlem Mertoğlu

Özlem Mertoğlu graduated in 1987 with a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the Middle East Technical University in Turkey. She began her professional career in 1987 at Interbank A.Ş., and between 1990 and 1999 held executive positions at Impexbank A.Ş., HSBC Bank Türkiye A.Ş., and Körfez Bank A.Ş. She also served as General Manager at Disbank Nederland and as Deputy General Manager at Demir Halk Bank Nederland. From 2010 to 2022, she was the Founder and Director of Affiance Management, an Independent Member of the Supervisory Board at Yapı Kredi Bank Nederland, and an Independent Member of the Supervisory Board at Yapı Kredi Malta. Between 2016 and 2018, she worked at TMF Netherlands as Global Business Director for Onboarding and KYC Services. Currently, since 2004, she has been the Founder and Director of Commodum, and since 2021, the Co-Founder and CEO of Morla Moves. In addition, on March 7, 2025, she was appointed as an Independent Member of the Supervisory Board of Yapı Kredi Bank Azerbaijan CJSC.
