Yapı Kredi Bank Azerbaijan: 25 Years of Experience on the Path to Sustainable Development

Since 2000, Yapı Kredi Bank Azerbaijan has been operating in our country, and this year we are celebrating our 25th anniversary. Over this period, guided by the principles of reliability, professionalism, and openness to innovation, we have secured a significant position in the country's banking sector. Our customers and employees have made great contributions to these achievements.

With the support of our main shareholder, Yapı Kredi A.Ş., we continue to provide innovative solutions to our customers through 8 branches, 1 sub-branch, our 24/7 Call Center (*0444), and our Internet and Mobile Banking services.

We are proud to have introduced Worldcard, the undisputed leader in the Turkish credit card market, to our country in 2012.

Furthermore, in 2014, our multifunctional Internet and Mobile Banking platform was launched, enabling our customers to carry out their financial transactions more conveniently and quickly.

We were also the first to integrate the “Asan Imza” technology into our Mobile Banking service, offering our customers the advantages of modern technology.

Over the past 25 years, we have supported hundreds of businesses through our focus on financing the non-oil sector, and by funding major infrastructure projects, we have contributed to the development of Azerbaijan's economy. Expanding our financial solutions to the liberated territories, we continue to support increased economic activity in those regions.

By bringing the advanced expertise of Yapı Kredi A.Ş., owned by Koç Holding — one of the largest conglomerates in Türkiye — to our country, we offer our customers simpler and more innovative solutions and plan to continue advancing our digital transformation.

Sustainability principles are one of the main pillars of Yapı Kredi Bank Azerbaijan's operations. Our bank was the first in the country to obtain ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 14064 certifications.

Yapı Kredi Bank Azerbaijan was honored with the “Best Trust Bank 2018” award by the prestigious UK-based Global Banking and Finance Review. This award is a testament to our high service standards and customer satisfaction.
